For ease of searching the list is split down by Ward area and is easy to navigate using the panel at the side of the document.  All the usual information is included in this document and you can type the case reference number into the Search field on the Highland Council Public Access site to see the full details of the application.

Any members of the public can comment on an application for the Kiltearn and Highland area via the Highland Council Website.

There is a closing date for comment on each individual application.

You may support or object to an application. You can also comment in writing to Highland Council Planning Dept:

Grounds for objection typically include, but are not restricted to:

  • Proposal is in an area that is not designated for development or in some way does not comply with Highland Council planning policies.
  • Proposal will overlook, overshadow, or impact significantly on the privacy of adjacent property
  • Shape, size & finish of property is not in keeping with existing surroundings or environment.
  • Proposal shall increase road safety risk, congestion, &/or parking difficulties.
  • Proposal shall overload schools, medical facilities etc.

If more than 5 valid objections are received the application is normally referred for a decision to a committee of local Councillors.
